This summer has been very busy. As I am getting caught up on August and October wedding gowns these last two weeks of July, I managed to fit in the Fall 2016 Bridal Gown Shoot. Nicole Nichols was the photographer. It was a day filled with makeup application, hair styling and traveling an hour and half away to a location in Northern Colorado. Rancho Ricardo in Berthoud, CO needed some promotion and allowed us to shoot. When we showed up we were worried as the caretaker told us the county would not allow us inside the main facility for zoning purposes (it's a new property). Where are my models going to get dressed? I was getting nervous. The caretaker, Janet was so sweet and allowed us into her house. She provided a steam iron, a room to change in, and even brought out her 28 year old Mare, Tonada. It was a sweet unexpected gesture and the models loved taking photos with the horse. Pictured is me and Dorotka. Dorotka is a model in the Denver area and was born in Poland. Her beautiful look was perfect for the debut of my new Burning Man inspired dress line. I will talk about each model in my upcoming blog entries. I was blessed to have 4 girls ask to be a part of the shoot.
