I recently finished a new sample gown inspired by 1920s fashions. I used an ivory silk fabric and combined a corset with shoulder straps and hid the front busk opening under the appliques. I carefully chose some very high quality appliques, I did have to tea dye them to get the right color. My team spent many hours carefully placing and hand sewing the appliques along the bust and down the center front. After draping the skirt and working the pattern we also added sparkle appliques down the center back of the train. The gown turned out sew beautiful! :) I hope you enjoy the photographs.
