About the Custom Design Process

Where Fantasy Becomes Your Reality

Every bride deserves a dress that feels like it was pulled straight from a dream — because yours was.

I create one-of-a-kind fantasy wedding gowns built entirely around your vision. Whether you're drawn to flowing elvish silhouettes, embellished corset bodices, celestial embellishments, or something the world has never quite seen before, I'm here to bring it to life with the craftsmanship it deserves.

The Process

1. Your Vision It starts with you. We'll talk through your ideas — mood boards, sketches, references, or simply a feeling — and I'll translate that into a design direction that's uniquely yours.

2. Every pattern is drafted by hand in Adobe Illustrator, tailored precisely to your measurements. No generic sizing, no shortcuts — your gown is engineered for your body from the very first line.

3. 3D Virtual Fitting Before a single piece of fabric is cut, your pattern is brought to life in CLO 3D, professional garment simulation software. This lets us see how the design drapes, moves, and fits in three dimensions — catching any adjustments early so nothing is wasted and nothing is left to guesswork.

4. The Mock-Up A physical mock-up is constructed and sent directly to you. Try it on, move in it, and share your feedback. This fitting step ensures the final gown will feel as beautiful as it looks.  At this stage fabric samples will begin to be set as well.

5. Final Design Once the fit is confirmed and every detail is approved, I move into final construction — where the real magic happens.

Why Custom?

A custom fantasy gown isn't just a dress. It's a garment that has never existed before and will never exist again. It fits no one else, tells no one else's story, and carries none of the compromises that come with off-the-rack or lightly altered designs.

This is slow, intentional work — and that's exactly the point.

No Refund Policy — Custom Gowns

Because every gown is made exclusively for you, all sales are final. Custom orders cannot be refunded, exchanged, or transferred once work has begun.

Here's what that means at each stage:

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date and begin the design process. This deposit covers initial consultations, design work, and fabric sourcing.
  • Fabric & Materials: Once fabrics and materials have been ordered or cut, those costs are non-recoverable and are the client's responsibility.
  • In-Progress Work: Payments made during the construction phase are non-refundable, as they reflect labor and time already invested.
  • Completed Gowns: A finished gown that has been approved, fitted, or picked up cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances.

Alterations & Adjustments:

Minor adjustments included in your contract will be honored within the agreed timeframe. Changes requested beyond the original scope may incur additional fees.

Order Cancellations:

If you need to cancel your order, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation does not entitle the client to a refund of any payments made. Remaining balances may still be owed depending on the stage of production at the time of cancellation.

Why this policy exists:

Custom gowns are made entirely to your measurements, design choices, and specifications. Materials are sourced, cut, and constructed solely for you — they cannot be resold or repurposed. This policy protects the integrity of the craft and the time invested in making your vision a reality.

About the Designer

My name is Jade Locke, and I have spent over 15 years turning bridal fashion on its head.

Based in Denver, Colorado, I design and create custom wedding gowns for brides who refuse to blend in. My work lives at the intersection of gothic romance, steampunk artistry, and alternative fashion — because your wedding dress should be as bold, unconventional, and beautifully you as the life you're building.

Every gown I make is wearable art. From the first sketch to the final stitch, each piece is crafted entirely by hand with one purpose: to give you the most extraordinary dress you will ever wear. I hand paint details, construct silhouettes that defy convention, and source materials that feel like they belong in another world — because for your wedding day, they should.

I believe every bride deserves a gown made for her body, her story, and her vision — no matter her size or shape. If you've scrolled through bridal boutiques and found nothing that speaks to you, you've found your way to the right place.

On my YouTube channel, I pull back the curtain on the entire process — from concept to completed gown. Whether you're dreaming of a custom piece or want to create something yourself, you'll find in-depth tutorials, pattern walkthroughs, and an honest look at what it takes to make a truly one-of-a-kind wedding dress.

Welcome to something different.
